Certification Requirements and Recertification Process
Welcome to Vigilare Surveillance Training Certification (VST-C)! This certification is designed to ensure that professionals in the surveillance field have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their duties effectively, and in alignment with the latest industry standards.
Initial Certification Requirement
To earn your VST-C certification, you must complete the following:
• 3-Day In-Person Training Course:
The initial certification requires participation in an intensive, three-day in-person training program
that combines in classroom presentations, interactive team concept exercises, field based practical
application scenarios, video review of students’ field exercises and real time critical debriefs.
Upon successful completion of the training, you will be awarded the VST-C Certification.
Recertification Requirements
To maintain your VST-C certification, you must complete the recertification process every two years.
• Online Recertification Course:
Every two years, you are required to complete an online recertification course. This course ensures
that certified professionals stay updated with the latest advancements in mobile surveillance techniques
and industry best practices.
Once you successfully complete the online recertification course, your certification status will be renewed for another two years.

The goal of the VST-C certification program is to ensure that certified individuals possess a deep understanding of surveillance techniques, standards, and evolving practices.
